STEM Academy of Hollywood is an innovative Science Technology Engineering and Medicine pilot high school located in the heart of Hollywood, California. STEM features a rigorous interdisciplinary and project-based curriculum and provides multiple student internships and community-based learning opportunities. STEM Academy is Linked Learning Gold Certified as well as a California Distinguished School with two career pathways, one in Engineering and another in Bio-Medicine.

The U.S. Department of Labor estimates that jobs in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) will grow 10.5% percent by 2030 with more than double the salary of non-STEM field jobs. By 2030, the U.S. will have more than 1 million unfilled STEM jobs because there will not be enough qualified workers to fill them. STEM is where jobs are today and where the job growth will be in the future.
