STEM ACADEMY OF HOLLYWOOD Home

Marly emigrated from Guatemala in 1996 and has lived in Hollywood since then. She attended Le Conte Middle School and graduated from Hollywood High School in 2003. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in English, received a Single Subject Credential and a Master's Degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from the California State University, Los Angeles. In 2021, she earned a Master's Degree in School Leadership and an Administrative Credential from California State University, Dominguez Hills. Ms. Escobar is a hardworking, dedicated, and caring individual who welcomes the voice of her students, staff, and families. She is committed in providing a safe and welcoming environment and adapt to meet the unique needs of the STEM Academy community. 

The STEM Academy is committed to academic excellence for all students. In order to achieve this goal, we support student learning by offering:

 

1. A strong core instructional program designed to help all students meet high academic standards.
Enrichment activities designed to expand students' learning opportunities and to support their cognitive, social,

emotional, moral and physical development.

 

2. A focused and comprehensive series of course in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Medicine (STEM).
