STEM Academy students engage in a variety of work based learning opportunities during their time in High School that are aligned to their chosen career pathway. These experiences include field trips, career fairs, mentors, internships and more.

ACE Mentor Program

The ACE Mentor Program (ACE) is an award-winning afterschool program pairs students with industry professionals to attract high school students into pursuing careers in the Architecture, Construction and Engineering industry. The students work on projects that provide hands-on experience in solving the types of design, engineering, and construction challenges industry professionals confront every day. This year, students participated in the National Design and Construction Competition where the focus was urban renewal and rebirth. Students researched the history and redesigned Pershing Square Park.
