Advisory Board/Volunteering

The STEM Academy Advisory Board consists of community members and professionals that are passionate about STEM education. They provide our school with the guidance necessary to ensure our school goals are aligned with industry and real world skills.

Their leadership and input allows students to gain valuable experience during high school, assisting in their matriculation, and eventual employment. Through collaboration, they assist in creating real-life experiences and networking opportunities for our students.

These opportunities include:

  • Guest speakers or presentations
  • Mentoring and tutoring
  • Jobs and/or internships
  • Serving as Board members
  • Donations in the form of monies, supplies and/or technology

The STEM Advisory Board community also provides an enriching exchange of ideas that will encourage and support our student’s college and career readiness.

Advisory Board members represent a variety of organizations and institutions such as:

  • UCLA
  • Educare
  • Campbell and Campbell
