STEM Academy of Hollywood school community, this is Principal Escobar with an important update.  Due to the impact of wildfires in the Los Angeles area, we will be shifting to a minimum day schedule. Students will dismiss at 12:00PM. All after school activities and games are cancelled. We will maintain staff on campus to ensure all students are supervised until they are picked up. If your child normally receives transportation services, those services will be provided today as well.  Thank you for your cooperation, and more updates will follow.

This is Ms. Escobar, Principal at STEM Academy of Hollywood with an important message for parents and guardians. The safety and well-being of our students and staff remain my top priority.

We became aware of a high wind warning within most areas within the Los Angeles Unified School District boundaries. Our students and our campus remain safe. Due to the high winds, and out of an abundance of caution, we have modified our operations, including keeping students indoors to minimize any exposure or danger from the air quality and the high winds.
